Welcome

It is a pleasure to greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

BVW is dedicated to encouraging young ladies, wives, and mothers to live a virtuous life for Christ, and to be contented keepers-at-home; serving others cheerfully.

Our prayer has been that this would be a place where you will find like-minded fellowship (with the same vision, desires, and interests), and receive encouragement in our God-given role.

BVW is primarily composed of material provided by our guests. We hope that you will help us in our endeavor by submitting items that would be useful, encouraging, and inspiring to others. We pray that your time here will be a blessing!

May Announcements

I'm sorry for the silence around here of late. As you will read below, there has been much activity around our house which has kept me busy on the home-front.

It is my hope and desire to have new updates here shortly. Please forgive us if we do not respond to your e-mails right away. Thank you so much for your patience during this time.

My Mother: The Journey Continues

September 28, 2005 my mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She went through surgery shortly thereafter, and finished chemo in March of 2006. On April 2, 2007, we learned that the cancer had returned. The last week of April brought with it a more extensive surgery than last time. She is currently undergoing more chemo treatments.

How can we begin to thank all who have been praying for my mother, and our family, as we travel the cancer road with her? All of the ways you have shown your love and concern for us means more than we could ever formulate in words. The Lord has been and still is gracious through it all. We treasure each passing day that is spent with my mother.

If you would like to keep up-to-date on how things are going with my mother and our family, we welcome you to visit our blog at: www.homeschoolblogger.com/prayerbasket
