Knitted Yarn Ball

* Supplies: 5-10 different bright-colored yarns (you will not need a very large amount)
* Size 7 knitting needles
* Polyester fiberfill (you will need quite a lot)

Using color A, cast on 24 stitches.

Row 1: Knit 24 stitches, turn.

Row 2: Knit 16 stitches, slip next stitch to right needle, bring yarn to back, turn.

Row 3: Knit 8, slip stitch (sl st) next stitch as before, turn.

Row 4: Knit 10, sl.st, turn.

Row 5: Knit 12, sl st, turn.

Row 6: Knit 14, sl st, turn.

Row 7: Knit 16, sl st, turn.

Row 8: Knit 18, sl st, turn.

Row 9: Knit 20, sl st, turn.

Row 10: Knit 22, sl st, turn.

For B, C, D and E, F, G, H, I, J repeat row 1-10. (If you are using 5 colors, you will be repeating them once. If you are using 10 colors, you will not be repeating them.) Bind off.

Sew the top and side together, leaving a hole in the top. Stuff the ball very firmly, then, finish sewing up the hole.
