Easy Alfredo Sauce

Makes: about 8 oz.

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cubed
  • 3/4 c. parmesan cheese (I just use the kind that comes grated in the can)
  • 1/2 c. milk, or to make it richer 1/2 c. half and half
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine

In a large saucepan, stir all ingredients together over LOW heat until smooth and melted. This recipe makes enough for about 8 oz. of fettucine. Sometime I add to the sauce about 2 cups of cooked, cubed chicken breast and serve over the fettucine noodles.
