Turkey Tenderloins with Mustard Sauce
Makes: n/a
For the Meat:
- Turkey tenderloins, 5-7 ounces each
- Marinade of your choice (I use a mixture of orange juice, olive oil, salt and pepper and 21 Seasoning Salute)
For the Sauce:
- 1/4 c. chicken broth
- 1/4 c. milk
- 2 T. flour
- Couple pinches of brown sugar
- Dash of pepper
- Dash of salt
- 1 T.+ of your favorite dark mustard (I use Boetje's)
Marinate the meat overnight. Then, cook on the grill for 10 to 15 minutes until done, or 180ºF. Remove from grill and cover.
Make the mustard sauce by stirring together in a bowl any juice from the tenderloins (i.e. leftover marinade), plus the chicken broth, milk, flour, sugar, pepper and salt. Cook until thickened.
Serve the sauce over the tenderloins or on the side.
