Great-Grandma's Ham Balls

Makes: 12 large balls

Meatballs:

  • 1-1/4 lb. ground ham or turkey ham
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1/2 lb. ground round
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-1/2 c. cracker crumbs
  • 1 c. milk

Sauce:

  • 1 (10-3/4 oz) can tomato soup
  • 6 T. vinegar
  • 1/2 t. dry mustard
  • 1 c. brown sugar

Mix meatball ingredients well, with clean hands. Form 12 large meatballs. Place in greased 9x13-in. casserole baking dish on top of a round slice of pineapple.

Combine sauce ingredients and pour over top of meatballs.

Place in a 350ºF oven and bake for 1 hour, basting occasionally.
