Caramels

Makes: n/a

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3/4 c. white karo
  • 1 large can evaporated milk

Mix together ingredients and cook, stirring constantly, until a drop of the mixture forms a firm ball in water. Then add nuts, if desired, and pour into greased shallow dish/pan. Cut to desired size and wrap in waxed paper.
