Green Bean Casserole
Makes: n/a- 1/2 bag frozen french cut green beans
- 1 can of sliced mushrooms, drained; or fresh sliced mushrooms
- 1 (10-3/4 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 5 slices of bacon, chopped
First decide what size cassorole you will need for your family. Fill it up 3/4 full with frozen beans.
Fry bacon until done and drain on a paper towel.
Put the beans into a large bowl and mix in the soup, bacon and drained mushrooms. You may add three tablespoons of water if you find the soup too thick but it will thin down while cooking. Put back into casserole dish and cover. Bake at 350ºF for 30-45 minutes, or until hot and bubbling.
