Blend in mixing bowl:
- 5 c. hot water (120ºF)
- 4 t. salt
- 2/3 c. oil

- 2 T. dough enhancer
Mix in:
- 6 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 T. yeast
Add remaining flour, as needed to clear sides of bowl while mixer kneads:
- 5-7 cups whole wheat flour
Knead in mixer for three minutes (or ten minutes by hand). Cut dough into four pieces. Shape and place into greased medium bread pans and cover. Let rise in a warm place until dough has doubled in size (about an hour). Bake at 350ºF until done--about 30 minutes.
Note: This recipe can also be used to make dinner rolls, cinnamon rolls, or pizza crusts.
