Easy Orange Rolls
Submitted by: Amber MoellerMakes: n/a
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 T. frozen orange juice
- zest of 2 oranges
- 3 (12 oz) tubes refrigerated biscuits
In a small saucepan, combine butter, sugar, orange juice and orange zest. Melt over medium-low heat; until sugar dissolves. Blend in frozen orange juice and orange zest. Dip individual biscuits in orange mixture and layer in a 9x13-in. casserole dish or bundt pan. Pour any remaining orange mixture over biscuits. Bake at 350ºF for 20 minutes, or until biscuits sound hollow when tapped. Turn upside down onto a platter and serve immediately.
Note: This is a very flexible recipe. You may add juice from one orange instead of using frozen orange juice (you will need to add a little more sugar).
