Organizing Pattern Pieces

Submitted by: Rita Echols

When you cut out a pattern, pile all of your cut-out pieces in order (A,B,C, or 1,2,3,); that will be the order you will sew them in, as you follow the directions. Saves a bit of time! It may seem obvious, but I have been sewing with friends for years and many never noticed this. Also, when you want to look up a pattern number such as the ones given on this website, if you go to the index of your pattern book, (like Simplicity), the pattern numbers are in order and it will give the page number you will find your pattern on.
