Pattern One

4-in. in Diameter

Chain 8, join with sl st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 7, (1 tr in ring, ch3) 7 times. Join with sl st to 4th ch of ch-7.

Rnd 2: Sl st in first sp, ch 4 , holding back on hook the last look of each tr, work 5 tr in same sp, yo and thru all lookps on hook (cluster), * ch 10, work a 6 tr cluster in next sp; rep from * around, ending ch 10, join with sl st to top of first cluster.

Rnd 3: 15 sc in next loop, * 5 sc in next loop, ch 10, turn; skip 4 sc of previous loop, sl st in next sc, turn; 13 sc in loop just formed, 10 sc in uncompleted loop; rep from * around, ending with sl st in next sc, turn; 13 sc in loop, sl st at base of ch 10.

Rnd 4: Ch, 3 * (skip 2 sc, 1 dc in next sc) twice, (ch, skip 2 sc, 1 dc in next sc) twice, ch 3, 1 dc in same sc as last dc, (ch 2, skip 2 sc, 1 dc in next sc) twice; rep from * around. Join and fasten off.

Pattern Two

3 1/2-in. Diameter

Chain 4.

Rnd 1: 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, ch 3, sl st in same ch, * ch 4, 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, ch 3, sl st in same ch; rep from * until there are 8 petals. Join with sl st in starting st, then sl st to top of first dc of first petal.

Rnd 2: * Ch 12, 1 dc in 9th ch from hook, ch 3, 1 sc in top of next petal; rep from * around, ending ch 3, sl st in first 4 sts of ch-12.

Rnd 3: Ch 3 (count as 1 dc), * in next ch-8 loop work (1 hdc, 7sc, 1 hdc), 1 dc in next dc, 1 dc in 4th ch on next loop; rep fron * around. Join wit sl st in top of ch-3 and in net 5 sts.

Rnd 4: Ch 3, skip next sc, 1 sc in next sc, ch 3, 1 sc in angle between next 2 dc's, ch 3, skip hdc and 1 sc, 1 sc in next sc, ch 3 skip 1 sc, in next (center) sc work (1 sc, ch 4, 1 sc); rep from * around, ending 1 sc to be worked, ch 2 (instead of ch-4), 1 hdc in same sc.

Rnd 5: * (Ch 3, 1 sc in next loop) twice, 1 sc in next loop, (ch 3, 1 sc in next loop) twice, ch 4, 1 sc in same loop; rep from * around, ending same as Rnd 4. Fasten off.

Pattern Three

3 1/2-in. Diameter

Chain 6. Join with sl st to form a ring.

Rnd 1: Ch 1, work 12 sc in ring. Join with sl st to first sc.

Rnd 2: * Ch 7, skip 1 sc, 1 sc in next sc; rep from * until there are 5 ch-7 loops, ch 3, 1 dc in same place as joining. (Yarn is now at center of loop).

Rnd 3: Ch 3, 4 dc under loop just completed, * ch 3, 5 dc under next loop; rep from * around, ending ch 3, sl st in top of first ch-3.

Rnd 4: Ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 4 dc, * ch 3, 1 sc under next ch-3, ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 5 dc; rep from * around, ending ch 3, 1 sc under last ch-3, ch 3, sl st in top of first ch-3.

Rnd 5: Ch 3, yo and draw up loop in next dc, yo and thru 2 loops (incomplete dc) work an incomplete dc in each of next 3 dc, yo and thru all loops on hook (cluster), * ch 5, 1 sc under next ch-3, ch 5, 1 sc under next ch-3, ch 5, 1 sc under next ch-3, ch 2, 1 dc in top of first cluster.

Rnd 6: * Ch 5, 1 sc under next ch-5; rep from * around, ending ch 2, 1 dc in top of dc of last joining.

Rnd 7: * Ch 3, under next ch-5 work (5 dc, ch 3, 5 dc) for corner, ch 3, 1 sc under next ch-5, ch 5, 1 sc under next ch-5; rep from * around, ending ch 5, sl st in top of dc of last joining. Fasten off.
