Basic Knitted Dishcloth

Materials: Cotton yarn; knitting needles, size 6, 7, or 8.

Cast on 3 stitches.

Row 1: Knit 2, yo, knit1.

Row 2: Knit 2, yo, knit 2.

Continue knitting 2, yo, and knitting to end of row until you reach 50 stitches. At this point, you will start decreasing. Dec. row: Knit 2, yo, knit 2 together twice, knit to end of row. Continue until you have 5 stitches left, and bind off.
