Laundry Detergent
Submitted by: Nicole Kline- 1/2 c. borax
- 1/2 c. washing soda
- 1/3 bar of grated Fels Naptha Bar Soap (Near bar soap or laundry aisle. You can also purchase it from the dial company directly.)
Boil some water and add soap, sir until dissolved. Add washing soda and borax. Stir until dissolved. Obtain a clean 5 gal. bucket and transfer detergent into bucket. Fill with water until the detergent reaches the 2 gal. mark. Let cool and transfer into containers. Shake before using.
Directions:
Use 1/2 cup in an average load of laundry.
Use 3/4 cup-1 cup if you have hard water.
