Little Helper Aprons

"I have noticed such joy in my young daughter's spirit when I put on an apron. She immediately asks if she can wear one. After we tie the strings, she follows closely behind me, imitating my mannerisms, that of a homemaker absorbed in her daily routine. She isn't only imitating my outward actions though, she's imitating my heart. To me the apron symbolizes the protective mantle God has bestowed upon us as mothers and daughters."
~ Mrs. Jill Novak, taken from "The Girlhood Home Companion" (Vol. 3, Issue 11)

When I was a little girl, I remember wearing a little denim apron that had letters across the front made from red and white gingham fabric which read "Half Pint." Today, it shows the wear of many childhood years of being loved. It is faded and stitches are coming undone, yet it has so many stories to tell. It speaks of the day when it was worn to help make peach pie, it tells of the food coloring that we used in the frosting for decorating Christmas cookies so long ago, etc. Nothing tells the stories of life in the kitchen like an apron can.

Our Little Helper aprons are made with love, by the Hostess, for the girls of this new generation. May the aprons help to kindle a love for their homes, their families, and dressing femininely. May the girls never cease to seek to live a life of Christian womanhood.

A Brief Description: These aprons are made from 100% cotton fabrics. They are lined on the back with either white or cream fabric. The cotton cord tie is adjustable to fit girls and some young ladies (ages 3 and up to...?). Each are trimmed with either eyelet lace or rickrack, or a combination of the two.

Although we try to give accurate trim details for each apron, trimming may still vary.
