Week One

Sharing

~ Author Unknown

Some share their lives with all they meet
Along life's thoroughfare,
A smile...a nod...a silence sweet,
These are the joys they share.

Some close their eyes along the road
While others hold their ears,
And there are quick and thoughtless words
That transform smiles to tears.

Our hearts tick off the nights and days
Like clocks upon a shelf
And lonely is the one who wastes
God's time upon himself.

Week Two

"Great works are performed not by strength but by perserverance."
~ Author Unknown

Week Three

Courage is fear that has said its prayers.
Criticism curdles the milk of human kindness.
Of all acts of man, repentance is the most divine.
The greatest of all faults is to be conscious of none.
Whatever you dislike in another person,
take care to correct in yourself.
Resolve to be good, but good for something.
A good way to work is "with" people, not "on" people.
The desire of appearing clever often prevents one from becoming so.
There's never been a person who did anything worth doing
who did not receive more than he gave.
To live long, it is necessary to live slowly.
The mind grows by that on which it feeds.
Great thoughts come from the heart.
There is nothing so foolish and enervating as anticipating
misfortune.
~ Author Unknown

Week Four

~ George F. Will
