November 2003

Week One

"The way to love anything is to realize that it might be lost."
~ G.K. Chesterton

Week Two

I Love A House

~ Faye M. Estabrooks

I love a house where flowers bloom
Or vines grow green in every room;
Where sheer white-curtained windows bring
Bright sunshine in from spring to spring.

I love a house with shining floors,
And patchwork quilts, and louvered doors,
Where plants are hung from ceiling hooks,
And shelves are filled with treasured books.

I love a house where laughter rings
From children's play, and someone sings
A joyous song - a house with walls
Adorned with children's crayoned scrawls.

I love a house with country charm
That's snug all seasons, cold and warm,
Where love and faith and joy expressed
Make it a house that's Heaven-blessed.

Week Three

"When God contemplates some great work, He begins it by the hand of some poor, weak, human creature, to whom He afterwards gives aid, so that the enemies who seek to obstruct it are overcome."
~ Martin Luther

Week Four

"A good laugh is sunshine in a house even on a dreary day."
~ Author Unknown
