Week One

Oh, give me patience when wee hands,
Tug at me with their small demands,
And give me gentle and smiling eyes,
Keep my lips from hasty replies.

And let not weariness, confusion and noise
Obscure my vision of life's fleeting joys,
So when in years to come, my house is still
No bitter memories its rooms may fill.

Week Two

"Learn to enjoy the things you dislike and perhaps you'll find a new way to enjoy life."
~ Author Unknown

Week Three

Forgive and Forget

~ Marie Wilson Garvue

The wiser folks are apt to tell
How futile it can be to dwell
On errors one made in the past;
Making grief and hatred last.

The Christians I have found,
Give good advice, free and sound:
Forget the past, seek to forgive,
This is the Christ-like way to live.

Week Four

"Teaching your child that money doesn't grow on trees is an ongoing, challenging task. But instilling responsible money habits in your child is a gift that lasts a lifetime."
~ Author Unknown

Week Five

"Laughing with someone else, of course is the best kind of laughter and the difference between laughing at and laughing with is something children often need their parents' help in understanding. Times when families laugh together are among the most precious times a family can have."
